Virtual museum - Geological and Historical Collections

 
Today APAT preserves and virtually makes available the considerable geological and historical heritage collected by the Geological Service of Italy over 150 years. It counts more than 150,000 finds among fossils, rocks, marbles and minerals. The museum can therefore be accessed by means of a virtual tour that enables visitors to see the collections. It also offers users different graphical interfaces, identified for different user targets. For each single find, users can soon view the most significant images, acquire information of interest and make use of different multimedia navigation solutions that enable them to interact.
